Remote View Log

I used the batch file available at http://www.ezcctv.com/software-download.htm to open the ports on the windows xp sp3 running gv800 using sustem version 8.2. I also redirected the ports 5552, 5611 and 3388 to the computer with th gv system. I checked that the remote viewlog service on control central server is turned on.
But the problem is that when i try to play back over internet using remote viewlog service, after the remote viewlog program loads the initial database an error messagem appears "unable to locate database. Please verify and try again"
Over internet i can use the dmview, remote play back. Only the remote viewlog is not working. Locally i can use the viewlog

Hi,

please double check port 5552 is open on your router ok.
You can use something like http://www.canyouseeme.org to check if the port is open.

Also, if you have any other 3rd party firewall or anti virus software, try disabling it and trying again.
It's worthwhile also turning off windows firewall just to be sure as well.
